Great Loss

When I arrived back from leave, I found out about some bad news that struck close to home for us. Our sister company the 3-172nd Infantry lost two soldiers, SSG Dale Kelly and David Veverka, both of which were victims of a roadside bomb attack.

Campaign Time

One of the things I planned my leave around was my mother's Primary Election for Nebraska Legislature District 46, it was a very exciting milestone for all of the hard work she had been doing over the past year. In the end she was the majority winner between herself and two other candidates. She will now be focusing on the General Election in November, if lucky I might be home for that too!

Parade

On Saturday I helped out my mother's campaign by walking with her in the Bethany Parade. The parade was a big success for the community and well organized. It was a pretty good time.
